#4 Kentucky 95 Howard 63

Kentucky starts the season with a 32 point win in Rupp vs. Howard to cover the 25pt spread.

The Cats will be back in actions Friday night as Duquesne comes into town.

What are the major strengths and weaknesses that we have seen after the Bahamas, a few scrimmages, and now our first game of the season?

This year's team SEEMS to have the ability to shoot the ball from distance better than in recent years. Three or four guys have shown signs of being able to put it in the hole from long range. I think this team has the potential to be a really good defensive team as well.

The major weakness of this team is that John Calipari is their coach. It's hard for me to get excited about UK basketball teams, knowing that a team with less talent will eliminate them from the tournament every year. Coach Cal needs a huge edge in talent to have a good shot at a title and those days are in the past.

Who would you like to see coach, Hoot?
