Hopefully Rock can take care of business. But Partin a dang good football and I can see him causing some problems. I've seen a heavy favorite rock team go to Knox get drilled more the once. If the Rockets win it will lock up the district championship. If Knox wins and Bell wins there would be a tie for the top spot.

This is a must win for Rock. Win this game and the district is all sealed up. 1st place and you will send Bell to Belfry in the second round that’s crazy but could be a huge game. Lose this game and Rock will go to Belfry in the second round. Knox is only able to play spoiler here as RPI would keep them in 3rd place win or lose this game. It will only affect who comes in 1st or 2nd in the event of a 3 way tie that’s assuming clay doesn’t do the unthinkable and beat Bell.

The way rock could not stop thomas at all for bell makes this questionable for me. If knox decides to ride partin then i think he can run for days. I think rock still wins based on the lack of KC defense but hes hard to tackle and the one thing that might hurt rockcastle was the inability to tackle.

Here’s an interesting thought… does Knox central feel confident it can beat Lawrence county in the 1st round? Bc if it does so we even see Knox open it’s playbook given that it has nothing to gain from this matchup?? If Knox can beat Lawrence then it will be back to play rock in the 2nd round if they show their cards this Friday what would they have left for the playoffs if they have to travel to the rock in the second round? I don’t think they have enough either way to win but just interesting take on the game
