President Obama: "The private sector is doing just fine."
#1
Does anybody agree that the private sector of the economy is "doing just fine?"

Quote:[COLOR="Blue"]Private sector ‘doing fine’? Romney pounces on Obama remark

WASHINGTON — Aware that the lagging economic recovery could dull President Barack Obama’s re-election chances, Democrats have taken solace in a potential trump card — a Republican challenger they have ceaselessly portrayed as out of touch, based as much on Mitt Romney’s verbal miscues as on his personal wealth and business record.

But, as the president sought to recover the upper hand after recent campaign setbacks, a rare rhetorical slip-up of his own Friday threatened to undermine his effort. In a White House news conference focused on the threat the worsening Eurozone crisis poses to the U.S. economy, Obama said Congress needed to act on his jobs plan to boost hiring in state and local governments. “The private sector is doing just fine,” he argued.

According to Axelrod and Obama, we need to hire more teachers, policemen and firemen to improve the "private" sector economy. Are these fools that stupid or are they full of deciept? Pick one, it can only be one of the two.

Yeah, it's almost like their from out of country somewhere and having read up on the American psyche, are continuing to proceed in a blind fashion according to the flawed dictates of what they have read, hey---wait a minute!

I've read several articles where Obama begins his calculation of job changes beginning with February 2010. I believe over 4 million jobs were lost between the time he took office and February 2010. That number fairly neutralizes any "growth" claim.
