It shows the ingenuity and determination of the American oil industry. Despite the best efforts of the Obama administration to throw roadblocks in the way of new oil production, the oil companies have managed to innovate and increase production on private land. However, the U.S. currently produces roughly half as much oil as Saudi Arabia and Obama won reelection. The War on Fossil Fuels is not over by a long shot.
