As much as this paints Vince as such a bad guy, many thanks needs to be attributed to Jerry Lawler. Jerry Lawler and Jerry Jarrett created some of the most famous gimmicks of all time. Kamala, Rock & Roll Express were put together after Ricky Gibson was injured and could no longer wrestle with Robert, Hulk Boulder was given the name "Hogan", Andy Kaufman - the list is just phenomenal when you sit down and look at all the characters that went from no-name or jobber, into HOF status after their breakout in Memphis!

I remember him getting a big push early in his WWE career. I was afraid of him. I though he was a monster.
