Eastern Kentucky is getting another impact transfer.
Former Texas Tech cornerback Nigel Bethel announced on Twitter that he's transferring to the FCS school. Bethel announced his intentions to transfer from Texas Tech in May and was set to be the top returning defensive back on the Red Raiders' roster. Since he's dropping down a level, he'll be eligible to play immediately as a junior.
