Former Prestonsburg Head Coach Brandon Gearheart was named the new head coach for the Crusaders basketball team. Gearheart was an assistant at JBS last year and is familiar with Pippa Passes as he graduated from Alice Lloyd College in 2008.

Gearheart was slated to join Coach Derrick Newsome's staff with the Pike County Central Lady Hawks this season.
