What is everybodys favorite rod and reel combo?

Either an Abu Garcia or Mitchell reel with a Ugly Stick as a rod.

Bass - Shimano reels and rods. I also like Bass Pro Extreme Woo Dave series.

My favorite rod a reel by far has to be my Shimano Curado on a G-loomis flipping stick. The sensitivity is amazing. If you want to go a little cheaper in my opinion you cant beat an All-star rod with a Shimano Citica. Quantum also makes good reels IMO.

Has anybody tried the Browning Midas reel? I was looking in a book at it and I am thinking about getting that one.

Any Browning reel is quality... always priced well and always performs well.

The Curado is $200 and the G-Loomis Flipping Stick is $450. All Star rods vary from $100-$140 depending on what you want. If you do alot of traveling for tournament fishing like i do its worth the money.
