The Lady Cougars lost their first game Saturday to the Scott County Cardinals, 1-0. This is part of the Scott County Invitational. Good showing by the Lady Cougars against a team in Central Kentucky.

I made a mistake on this one. They did lose but it was by forfeit. According to a source, they didn't have enough players to travel to the Scott County tournament. It was put in KHSAA scoreboard as a 1-0 win for Scott County which is right but they are suppose to indicate forfeiture.

why didn't we have enough players? Wasn't we also slated to play Larue Co?

I was told today they wouldn't have had enough to play due injuries and illness. When I seen them play Lawrence County last week I noticed their bench being thin. They stated that some of the injured players is getting released to play this week.
