Injury Report: Lanefski Out For The Season
#1
Offensive lineman Jake Lanefski will have season-ending surgery on a torn ACL. Lanefski is the backup for both the guards and center. Coach Brooks said today that Lanefski was really looking forward to returning to his home state this weekend to play Auburn, and it is “just a crime” that he will have to miss the trip, and more importantly, the remainder of his sophomore season. A few other injury notes:

– CB Paul Warford made it through practice today. He is still sore but coaches say there is a “good chance” we’ll see him against Auburn.

– OT Justin Jeffries is still suffering from tendonitis in his ankle, but will continue to play through it.

– RB Derrick Locke and OFFENSE Randall Cobb did not finish practice today. Locke has soreness in his knee and Cobb has tendonitis in his ankle. Both are expected to return to action on Thursday.

– I miss Trevard Lindley.

That’s about it for now. We’ll have a lot more to come as we look ahead to the Auburn game. Now, if someone will get this kid his chocolate milk, so we don’t have to listen to that song anymore. (Don’t even say that video is cute, that is obviously poor parenting.) Go Cats.

Is Durham that bad or is Jeffries that good? I mean they are going to play Jeffries at less than 100%, that doesn't sound smart.

WE ALL MISS TREVARD LINDLEY! Sad
