The local Church is the source of the Christian's strength, his bastion of safety and the enhancer of his understanding apart from his own efforts to "study to show thyself approved."

And it may be getting ready to become much more in Kentucky. It seems that there may be liberal machinations afoot in the state legislature to legally force Churches across the state, to accept folks into their midst that do not conform to the dictates of doctrine, on pain of loosing their tax exempt status.

Gay rights extremists have no intention of giving our state a pass on same sex marriage. As they intend to overturn the will of the people in Kentucky using the favored liberal tactic of out legislating us. They will be bringing the fight to advance homosexuality inside the Church sanctuaries as soon as they can pass legislative muster.

As I have said many times, the liberal is a formidable foe. And, though God's people may never be converted to the liberal view, they can be outwardly legislated into submission by government regulation. Elections have consequences.

I don't see this whole gay issue as a political issue - it's something that needs to be addressed by the Churches or we're going to become like Canada and some of the other societys where preaching out against sin is a "hate crime." Liberalism is more of a religion than a political view.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

I make room for God’s grace.

Some days I may feel stuck in negativity. I may wallow in complaint or find my mind fixed on a certain story, belief, or plan that has me feeling troubled. In such instances, my mind has no room for divine ideas, nor is it receptive to the wisdom and inspiration of Spirit.

As I gently dismiss limiting thoughts and claim the truth of Spirit’s bountiful good, I make room for God’s grace in my life.

MY BLESSINGS MULTIPLY AS I FOCUS ON THE GOOD IN MY LIFE.

In Genesis, God called all of creation good. Good is everywhere present. We can compare the good in all to the power of electricity. Electricity existed before humans discovered it, just as my good exists before I have manifested it. Good exists whether we perceive it or not. Through awareness, imagination, and faith, we behold the potential for good and bring it forth in our lives.

Like flipping a switch to turn on the lights, I turn my attention to everything good. As I focus on my blessings, they multiply. I turn on the light of Spirit in me and see my good increase.

The greatest gifts of life are mine to claim, and I am open to receive them. As I focus on my good, it continually expands.

My brother, about the gay rights thing. You are right God is love and we need to tell people about the love of God. But remember we are no different than Paul. He was just as human as we are today. He was blunt and told them at Corinthians, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 KJV
[9] Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, [10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

He was strait forward teaching against sin right in the church. We all need to be like Paul. There are some out there that don't really know what they are doing is wrong. It's up to us to help them and tell them those things. We need to be teaching and preaching against sin just like Paul instead of letting everyone run over us. The Christians are being too quiet and therefore the WORLD AND SATAN are imposing their will on us. We can show love and teach and preach against sin at the same time. God bless.
