Politicizing Everything-- Dem's Alter Reality
#1
Opportunity abounds these days it would seem, for the handout crowd.

Governor Cuomo and Mayor De Blasio are asking the taxpayers of other states, to give Billions in aid to New York. You know, the New York which lectures every other state on how great they are? De Blasio has asked for 8.5 billion for New York City alone. In Illinois, the governor has asked for 40 billion, with 10 billion of that going to prop up the state employee pension fund. All Illinois state pension recipients receive, or are slated to receive over 100K yearly. But except for the notable exceptions of folks like former Republican Gov Matt Bevin of KY for example, State's governors routinely skirt financial disaster where state pension funding are concerned, in order to buy votes and slake the spirits of the handout crowd. So New York and Illinois and other Democrat strongholds don't operate off of balanced state budgets. In this case the lockdowns they ordered has cost them the billions in taxes their respective states operate on. You see, many state governments are not better off than most American households which are in the throes of existing from payday to payday. Miss one check and it's a problem. Miss six checks and counting and it's a fiscal disaster. They (states) spend recklessly and when any unforeseen calamity falls they just scream for help from the federal government. Why do we even have governors anymore?

Speaker Pelosi meanwhile, (that would be 'speaker' in the Arkham Asylum sense) is trying to push through a 2000 dollar a month (per adult) government income payment. And that in addition to any Social Security, pension, or welfare payments already being given. Whew! Our stock would go through the roof around here, at least until the US economic system failed and the nation entered formal bankruptcy. LOL.

The Speaker and the rest of the rabid Dems are quite prepared outrightly, to buy the votes they need to get back the Oval Office. Anybody who thinks the Democrats aren't willing to sink this ship of state is delusional. As for me and my house, we're voting Republican.

The onset of CV has also extended myriad political opportunity for the sensitive-to-the-light-of-day Dems. A safely sheltered at home Joe Biden continues the luxury of evading any and all prying and difficult personal/policy questions thanks to "CV guidelines." Heck, that benefit alone is worth a destroyed US economy to a serious Democrat. But for now, an enfeebled Uncle Joe is enjoying the friendly confines of his own elegantly appointed basement. This tactic allows the press to run a fictional and noble Joe Biden for President.

And oh glorious day! Finally, the press have the perfect albatross to hang around the neck of the President. How does one debate or hold accountable a strand of killer RNA? Not to mention at the same time having to singlehandedly fend off the viciously fraudulent prosecution being waged by the rabid left press corps. And to that end the blame game has already gone interstellar.

But the people want to hear from their president, and so for now we're sort of stuck with the process of passing, on the monkey puke, and focusing on what the President actually says. As mentioned in another thread, the natural disaster is the perfect Democrat ploy. Hurricane Katrina was blamed on George W. Forget the fact he was busy fighting off the savage attacks of the suicide bombers of the Arab World. And this next one shows the press' deceitfulness as opposed to the public's gullibility. Hurricane Sandy. Obama was President and Chris Christie was Governor of New Jersey. Obama had taken some serious incoming and it looked as if Mitt Romney would win in 2012.

But this time around the President was a Democrat, and so the dutiful leftist press as they do all current events, used the daily news cycle to prop up Dems and tear down Republicans. Bottom line this time was, Obama with press corps cameras all awhirl, met Governor Christie in storm ravaged New Jersey from whom he got a big hug. People wept as the President promised to provide everything necessary. This time there were no charges of neglect or malfeasant unpreparedness by the press. It was all hero worship, laurel leaves and grand processions.

Ebola came and went with no particular media overreaction, as did a rather devastating bout with H1N1 Flu. 61 million American cases, 275 thousand hospitalizations and 12,500 American lives lost. Barely a peep about it out of the press, then or now.

But then along came coronavirus, the which case according to the US State Dept. is there are strong indications that China "allowed" the virus to free flow into the US while they and W.H.O. insisted that CV could not pass from human to human. But are the press covering that? Of course not. We have a Republican President they must try to overthrow. No point in belaboring the recent days of blistering charges and unsubstantiated blame that has been laid at President Trump's feet. Suffice it to say that his early efforts to fight the plague brought public scorn and ridicule his way by a openly vicious press corps. When the reality of the threat landed firmly on their pointy little heads they merely changed gears and went the other direction. Equally worth mentioning however, is the profile for tactic of blaming a Republican President for natural disaster exactly mirrors that used by the Dems and the press after Hurricane Katrina.
