"Biden will sign an order ramping up supplies for vaccination, testing and personal protective equipment and another boosting development of therapeutics to treat Covid-19.
Following through on his campaign proposals, Biden will sign two executive orders creating a National Pandemic Testing Board to improve US coronavirus testing capacity and a Covid-19 Health Equity Task Force to ensure an "equitable" pandemic response and recovery.
Another executive order will enhance the nation's collection, production, sharing and analysis of data about the virus.
He will direct the Federal Emergency Management Agency to offer full reimbursement to states for the cost of National Guard personnel and emergency supplies such as PPE for schools.

Biden will direct the Department of Education and Department of Health and Human Services to provide guidance for safe reopening and operating of schools, childcare providers, and institutions of higher education.

He will issue an executive order calling on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to release clear guidance on Covid-19, decide whether to establish emergency temporary standards, and directs OSHA to enforce worker health and safety requirements."

An Executive Order is just piece of paper with a bunch of lines on it unless the Administration acts, but if Biden and Co. follow through we could see our country returning back to normal without another full year of running at 50% or less.

YouRock YouRock
Nothing Biden has proposed will make one bit of difference. The companies are producing doses of the vaccine as fast as possible and the idea that more testing leads to lower infection rates or fewer deaths is wishful thinking.

It is important that people with symptoms are able to get tested and that labs are not so overwhelmed with useless tests that results are delayed. The focus on testing should be on accuracy and turnaround time for those who have symptoms that may be caused by COVID-19.

Testing in my part of the world is jacked up. Pretty much common sense when people have been exposed and  have to wait 4-5 days to test they could be shedding the virus and infecting others.

But we tried it your side’s way, Hoot; it was a tremendous failure.  Probably the worst job anyone could do.  The worst.
The science says that asymptomatic spreading of the virus is very rare, if it happens at all. Studies have been done and studies are being ignored so that Biden can claim that he is doing something more than Trump did. It makes no sense to clog the labs with specimens when sick people are waiting for a diagnosis.

The worst things that anybody has done was to force elderly COVID patients back into nursing homes occupied by healthy elderly people. Trump did not do that. Cuomo and several other Democrat governors made that cruel and idiotic decision. In fact, the transgender "woman" that Trump hired to implement his COVID plan oversaw that program in Pennsylvania. She was obviously hired to check a demographic box and not because she had a good record fighting the pandemic.
Quooter your guy had his chance and he has failed Bigly let's give President Biden his chance time to move on
