The above was the plan under uncle Joe's old boss, Obama; it's always been the liberal plan, and it remains the liberal plan. The link above shows the graph used by Republican Party Chair Senator Roy Blunt to show how expensive gas was across Europe at the time. But these guys want gas to be too expensive to buy, because that is the best way to regulate the single family automobile, (which libs see as planet destroyers) out of existence. If gas gets too expensive to buy, or COVID-19 regulations become even more onerous in the face of fantastically effective vaccines, or the entirety of the Yucatan peninsula winds up north of the border, you can bet it's by design.
