brittney schaeffer,the ss for lc showed why she is going to a d1 school.she put on a clinic in baserunning,had 2 triples,a single and a walk and scored 2 runs.she robbed jc of least a double on a hard hit line drive that she dove and caught to her backhand side.she fielded another ground ball deep in the hole that should have been a infield base hit but with that cannon arm she made it look routine on the put out at first.a great effort by a senior playing every game like it is her last.
