Congratulations go out to Marcus Carson, the former North Laurel Jaguar hit his first collegiate home run yesterday, a three-run shot in Kentucky's win over Dayton. Carson, a junior, is UK's starting center fielder this season.
Also, Daniel Neal, last year's Kentucky Mr. Baseball from South Laurel has started the first three games at the University of Tennessee as a freshman as the DH, had two hits over the weekend. Not bad to have two guys from London playing D1 in the best conference in the country.
