The past couple of years have been an anomaly as far as this or any other countries economies are concerned.  It will take some time before we can judge Biden on the economy, although I'm not sure if they have a viable plan or not at this time.  Any unbiased, informed person should realize this, but politics clouds people's judgement.

Any unbiased, informed person should be able to look at the statistics and surveys. The Fed, under Biden has been pumping huge volumes of currency into the economy and liberal policies have not provided adequate incentives to people who should have returned to the workforce. The Biden administration lied about the high inflation rate being transitory, so Americans now expect inflation to persist longer than whatever the administration's latest forecast may be. 

You are right about politics clouding people's judgment. It has clouded yours. Inflation is actually a much more serious issue than the Biden administration will ever admit. The inflation rate has been kept low over the years by redefining the inflation rate and excluding important items from its calculation. If Biden gets his way, American taxpayers will be paying higher tax rates and suffering from even higher inflation rates. Liberals know that Biden is a one-term president and are working hard to implement their agenda, regardless of the exorbitant cost of doing so.
