Is Sperry playing this year? With all of the attention he is getting on the basketball court, one would think it may not be worth the risk of getting injured. I am hearing their offensive and defensive lines will be the strongest they have had in some time.

They look good up front and should be improved on defense. To me they are a good QB away from making it to state semis. Don't see them competing with top 2a teams like LCA, Mayfield, Beechwood. I think they win district and advance to Region championship round with Sperry. Without him their ceiling is significantly lower. 
As far as Sperry goes last I heard was he was expected to play but wouldn't be surprised if he sat out.

I am hearing more and more that Sperry may indeed sit out and focus on basketball. I guess time will tell.
