It’s definitely a fair opinion. Isn’t far fetched by any means. Both teams are good. Probably a close game if they ever meet.

I noticed on the schedule that Perry and Leslie don’t play in the regular season. Why is that? They’re in the same district and right next door to one another.

They don't seed the 54th district by head-to-head results.
They seed according to Cantrall ratings and have for a long time.
That means they don't have to play each other unless both teams work it out.
Probably have to have some input from the coaching staff's to know for sure, but this is either the second or third year in a row now that they've not played in the regular season.

Both schools are afraid of how a head to head lose would impact their rating. Not that it matters this season. Hazard and Buckhorn aren’t on a level to beat Perry and Leslie.
