Pikeville 7 George Rogers Clark 5

lcgrad2002 Wrote:Hey Panther Thunder why do you have that picture and all those accomplishments. If I were to do that for Lawrence County I would run out of room, just act like you have been there before those aren't that great. 15th region All A champs, umm yeah who is in that lol? And on top of that the 59th is weak
And what would that be? About how much room and about how long would it take you to list the two, thats right, two regional championships that Lawrence Co. has while coming to the 15th. They have two regional championships that I can remember while in the 16th region and two since they have been in the 15th region. Pikeville has about 7 or 8 regional championships in that same time span.

Here's the rundown on regional championships in the 15th just since 2004.

2004--Johnson Central
2005--Pikeville
2006--Sheldon Clark
2007--Johnson Central
2008--Lawrence Co.
2009--Lawrence Co.
2010--Pikeville

There's your numbers!!!

lcgrad2002 Wrote:Just my opinion like your flaunting all of that, yeah Pikeville has a good program but Lawrence County has owned the 15th region for quite some time. Do you want to compare numbers?

You have never played baseball have you Grad?

Got a little advice for you LCgrad, If I didn't want to have myself made out to look like a fool, I think I would pick on someone other than PT when it comes to baseball knowledge. All you're doing here is setting yourself up to get embarrassed .
#33
Yes I played baseball for 12 years thank you. I don't get embarrassed
#34
I said room for all titles including district titles, regional titles, semi-final wins or sectional wins however you say it and two state tournament appearances and one runner up. want the number of 20 win seasons? what is your point, I didn't ask your opinion.
#35
I could care less what anyone else says or what facts or records they put on here. I am here for the kids and that's what matters, so get over it.

Just going on what one of your LC comrads (who happens to be a mod) told me. According to him you never played sports of any kind.

Go ahead and put up your numbers there little fella , I am sure that PT would be more than glad to accommoadate you with his. Warning though, you will be embarrassed.

Nobody asked for your opinion either, but we got it anyways too didn't we? PT didn't say anything out of the way, before you started your smart remarks towards him. Did he??
#38
Hahah ok. I played football, and baseball so he must not know me well.
#39
Well there is no sense in putting that on every message that he sends

You're the one running at the mouth here little fella. You're the one who started this "wanna compare numbers crap" when PT has never made the first negative post about either you or Lawrence Co.
#41
lcgrad2002 Wrote:Hahah ok. I played football, and baseball so he must not know me well.

Well, I think he does.
#42
I respect Pikeville a lot but if I were to put LC stats on my page then everyone would comment on them.
#43
lcgrad2002 Wrote:Well there is no sense in putting that on every message that he sends

I guess he can do what ever he wants. You do. I can tell you one thing, Pikeville will put to shame anything that you want to put up as a comparison to LC in any sport. Wanna bet???
#44
lcgrad2002 Wrote:I respect Pikeville a lot but if I were to put LC stats on my page then everyone would comment on them.

So, who cares?? You're the one that's making the unprovoked "owned" statements. The thing is PT has the numbers and stats to back up what he says, you dont, because you cant.
#45
Well he must not know me that well, I never played highschool cause of family problems but I played football and baseball for 12 years both.
#46
Ok lol, yeah I guess he can if he. This site is a joke anyways and most of the people are as well.
#47

Then I dont believe I would be wasting my time on it then.

I've heard people say the exact same thing about the Levisa Lazer.
#48
Yeah the Levisa Lazer is also I dont work for them. I agree 100 percent it's a joke also.

Which should mean you are supposed to be professionally unbiased since they are a regional newspaper. Perhaps the patrons of all the other schools that the BSN covers should boycott your employer's product since you are intent on downing every other school in their coverage area.. That should go over well with management.
#52
I like how you like to know who everyone is but won't tell anyone who you are. Your just some punk hiding under a name that's all.
#53
So what exactly do you do?
#54
This probably the most random thing ever. haha

First off, it is a signature. Meaning it will appear on all of my posts. There are other people that have them on this site. It includes the accomplishments of the 2010 Panther baseball team. If you don't like it, I believe there is an option that you can choose that will turn signatures off and you won't have to look at it.

Flaunt it? Yessir. That is half of what this site is about. Sorry if you are offended by something so insignificant as someone's signature. If you want to make one and include all of Lawrence County's accomplishments, be my guest. And my signature is nothing in comparison to some members of the LC runner-up team getting all their accomplishments TATTED on themselves.

And Seger is correct. You don't want to see the numbers.

Lawrence County (5) (1 Runner Up, 1 Final Four):

16th Region: 1986, 1995, 2003
15th Region: 2008, 2009 (Runner Up)
No appearances to 1976.

Pikeville (8) (1 Final Four):

15th Region: 1991, 1992, 1993, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2005, 2010 (Final Four)

Johnson Central (6) (1 Final Four):

16th Region: 1982, 1983
15th Region: 1995, 1996, 2004 (Final Four), 2007

Paintsville (17) (1 Championship, 1 Runner Up, 5 Final Fours):

That would give Paintsville 17: 1942, 1944, 1957, 1976, 1977, 1978 (Final Four), 1979 (Final Four), 1980, 1981, 1985, 1986 (Final Four), 1987, 1988, 1989 (State Runner Up), 1990 (State Champions), 2000, 2001.

Boyd County (14) (1 Championship, 2 Runner Ups, 6 Final Fours):

15th Region: 1985
16th Region: 1988 (Runner Up), 1990, 1992, 1993 (Final Four), 1994, 1997, 1998 (Runner Up), 1999, 2000 (Final Four), 2001 (State Champions), 2002, 2005 (Final Four), 2006

Ashland Paul Blazer (14) (3 Championships, 2 Runner Ups, 7 Final Fours):

15th Region: 1976, 1978, 1979
16th Region: 2004

And then here we go back into the depths of history, State Tournament appearance prior to 1976: 1940, 1941, 1942 (Runner Up), 1949, 1955, 1958, 1960 (Final Four), 1962, 1965 (Final Four), 1966 (State Champions), 1967 (State Champions), 1968 (State Champions- 3-peat), 1969 (Runner-up), 1975

Greenup County (6) (1 Runner Up, 1 Final Four):

15th Region: 1980, 1982
16th Region: 1996 (Runner Up), 2007, 2008, 2010

There they are. Still wanna compare numbers? Use those numbers and tell me what exactly Lawrence County "owns". I will tell you one thing, The Dawgs were six different kinds of thrilled to get out of the 16th.

16th All Time:
1. Ashland

2. Boyd County

3. Greenup County
4. Lawrence County (Not much separation from GC)

15th All Time:
1. Paintsville

2. Pikeville

3. Lawrence County
4. Johnson Central (Not much separation from LC)

So, that should just about speak for itself. And I realize that LC has had a lot of success vs. Pikeville recently. But what you must also realize is Lawrence was at its program's highest point in the past 20 years. Pikeville was at by far its worst in the past 20 years.

I still have not idea or clue as to why this argument got started, but hopefully this finishes it. And just for the sake of the site, try to not ruin pretty good discussion in this thread. If you wanna call me out, send me a PM. Up until now I had a good deal of respect for you and your posts. Hopefully this is just an out of character thing. Good Luck to LC the rest of the way.

I tried to warn him PT....lol
#57
Oh wow so no one else can say anything but you two. Oh I'm sorry I didn't know you were my boss.

Let freedom ring...

Nice facts Thunder..
#59
Cant wait to watch some baseball this evening finally..

lcgrad2002 Wrote:Nice facts Thunder..
And just to clarify one other fact PT forgot to add, since 2002 (furthest back I could go), Pikeville has a total record of 235-104, and LC has a record of 225-104. Keep in mind, that is only since 2002. The 80's and 90's teams had outstanding records too, I remember at least 2 30 win seasons from the mid-80's. You might not have meant to start anything, but you did, and we ended it. Now, let's all sing "Kumbayah" and watch some baseball.
