106 - Hurst/Hernandez (toss up)
113 - Hernandez
120 - Boston
126 - Blackwell/Austin
132 - Ervin (MOW)
138 - Perez/Fausz
145 - Whalen/Brown/Jude
152 - Lampe/Agnew
160 - Lampe/Rusch/Young
170 - Thompson/Parrott
182 - Smith
195 - Parrott/Thompson
220 - Myers/Mattingly
285 - Lawson

Team - Union County

They only had 4 kids last night at the Pike Co. Central meet. The coaches said that 1 kid quit and one kid had a prior event he had to attend.

If they get some good seeds at the Regional Tourney, they may get 1-2 kids in to the state tourney.

They have to get to the middle school and every year they don't it is another year behind.

Letcher has five kids wrestling and has very good shot to take four of those to state and if one gets lucky then all five have a great shot at going.

Team - Union

Boston will run through the state! The kids ranked first in the nation. I don't think Blackwell will have much trouble either. Ervin without a doubt. Blanch from Johnson has bumped to 138 so I think that will shake things up. At 145 Jude doesn't even compete. At 152 Lampe runs away with it. Don't really know that much from there till 220 , Myers won't even have a match at state, kid is the real deal. At heavy, I'm not really sure, I don't know if peters from pike is skilled enough to win a title but the kid could make a run if is on his game.

I got the team champions right.... Union County.
And I got 9 of the 14 weight classes right.

Ervin (126), Myers (220) and Johnson (285) didn't have any competition the entire tournament.

I don't keep up with it that much any more. I don't never know when there is a meet or were they are at. since my niece started playing high school sports as a 8th grader(cross country, track and field, and basketball)
I am trying to get my nephew to be on Perry Co. Central wrestling team. but I can't get him off a dirt bike or away from a video games to do anything.
