Curious about what teams played tough schedules during the season or closed with a strong schedule. Will those schedules will pay dividends come regional tournament time?

Default Toughest in state schedule
Your question was not necessarily who had the toughest schedule, but who's schedule would most prepare the team for a deep tournament run. I don't know how you could answer that question. However, who has played the toughest schedule may be easier to ascertain. Below are the top 20 teams in the state (according to the CJ Lit ratings) ranked by how many top 20 instate teams are on their schedule. This does not include some of the great out-of-state teams some of the Kentucky teams play during the holidays.

Lafayette- 12
Trinity- 10
Madison Central- 10
Scott County- 9
Lexington Christian- 9
Bryan Station- 8
Fern Creek- 7
Lexington Catholic- 7
Covington Catholic- 6
Cooper- 6
Ballard- 6
Fairdale- 6
Doss- 6
Butler- 5
John Hardin- 5
Pulaski County- 4
Oldham County- 3
Paducah Tilghman- 1
Knox Central- 0
Owensboro- 0

In the 15th region, I would say SV's schedule will help them.

I really don’t think the toughest schedule is close Floyd Central has played a much tougher schedule than the rest of the 15th we’ll see how much it helps them in a week or two

I agree with you on that. They have played a brutal schedule down the stretch. It will help them make a deep run come regional tournament!
