Default The Report of Dems Death False
Per usual, an unusually unpopular 1st term, heck, 1st year President, had to watch with, eh, typical boorishness, as a shadow of the midterm elections flashed across his unkempt brow.
“Somebody call that lout Jared,” perhaps he wailed, “and see if Vladimir has any advice.”

‘Tis here, Bob, ‘tis here. Soon enough. Speaking of jibberish, the oft touted demise of the Dems. If I didn’t know better, I’d think ignorance of political patterns and history was just rampant.

The bigger picture is that the report of the demise of Dems, oft screeched on this forum, was greatly exaggerated.

I'm still trying to figure out what's so unpopular.

Best economy of my lifetime.
A huge ball sack on dealing with Asia.

Hurt feelings maybe?

I hope every Democrat loses every election, but I'm definitely not pulling for any rino either.

Well now that's the thing, isn't it? While Republican voters continue to expect more from their representatives and are actively and manifestly involved in self governance, all Democrats want is to be in power. The world on fire? Fine, as long as it's them calling the shots. Anybody who can still defend the insanity of the past 8 years and be trumpeting signs that there is more of the same to come is forever lost in the fog.

Perhaps a swaggering buffoon using evangelicals as a willing plow, Twitter as a Richie Rich bully box, and key Russians in collusive plan have somewhat soured the honeymoon.

The assertion that Dems want power for the sake of power, while ‘pubs want it for the sake of benevolence is so laughably pathetic that no further commentary is required.

If it were up to the Democrats in elected office, all of us would be living in poverty. Capitalism works. Democratic socialism is a cruel hoax perpetrated by people such as yourself,

Socialism has never worked.
Not one single time.
It's a false hope given to those who have nothing and are mad at the world that there neighbors just got a new boat.
Socialism was built on nothing but lies. And as we all know the end stages of socialism is communism. It's when that cancer becomes terminal.

Liberals cry and moan about democracy while having the freedom to do so but for some reason can't understrand that they would be in the same shape with socialism only they wouldn't be allowed to cry about it.

Right, if you were even capable of commentary. All I see is the same old broken record. Hoot is exactly right. The listless of the land and their Democrat enablers would much rather see those who earned their way to prosperity brought down by government, than to get off their zombie kill counts and work for a living. A famous man once told me, "Anybody can quit." That observation of course assumes those in question actually started anything, which sad state obviously disqualifies most the present generation. All of whom seem willing to justify their own lack of gumption by hating and berating those who enjoy success. After all, Nancy Pelosi says all her constituents on welfare are artists.

The Dems do want power for the sake of power. That's why they lie and cheat and machinate. And that is certainly why they buy votes and resist the issuance of voter ID's. Even California would be back in play at that point. But you are right in your speculation about the dead donkeys. I mean, Satan wasn't stupid enough to spend the last 6 decades seeding the wrong party.

I would say it's sour grapes for those who have nothing and are mad at the world that their neighbors just got a new boat. The stifling affect of Socialism would bring them back down to the low level of which their own sloth has them relegated.

It is interesting, and a bit sad actually, to watch the evangelicals being used as a plow by the tweeting don. If ever an example existed of a political leader pushing policies that line the pockets of his kind, we’re seeing it. Certainly, Donald Trump has more in common with those highlighted in the Paradise Papers than Nancy Pelosi does with a “welfare recepient.” If the equation of constituency is being drawn, equating those of the Trump set with those of the working poor, then the equater is not only wrong, but also espousing a kind of social Darwinism that doesn’t sit well with a proposed Christian framework.

I, and people such as myself, do not believe in the existence of a free government lunch.

Liberals are merchants of mediocrity and misery. They believe that poor people, being desperate and afraid, are far more likely to fall for whopping lies than are people such as myself - and that is why they are so eager to flood our shores with poor, illegal immigrants and terrorists.

Poor, scared American citizens are the Democratic base, and they did not become poor and afraid by accident.

Liberal fear mongering comes at a price that all Americans pay.

To correctly understand the mindset of a true evangelical one would need a working relationship with the Ultimate Equater, which of course is the Holy Spirit. I've seen scores of documentaries in which the so-called experts tried to use the wisdom of man to explain away the various miracles of the Bible, such as the parting of the Red Sea. Thanks to the ministry of the Equater, evangelicals laugh at such ridiculousness from a position of knowledge.

I could no more convince you of your error than I could the eggheads who produce wrongheaded documentaries about the work of God. Thus in no way do I feel compelled to do so. But go ahead and feel as sorry for me as you want since you think my understanding of world events is so sad. I'm fine with that.

Evangelicals, scientilogist, Satanist, even hipsters should be happy. They're all being provided opportunities to work.
Or is it that they don't want to work and there mad daddy Trump is making them?
Hopefully in trumps second term he will start slowly eliminating social programs one by one.

Evangelicals, as a group, and this has roots reaching back to Constantine in history, have played the sap for earthly potentates who, in utter contradiction to their actual lives, throw a few bones. Through flattery and lip service, they grasp for “by this sign we will conquer,” though their methods, goals, and beliefs be at odds with the one called “Master and Lord.” What is sad is to watch, over and over again, believers marry themselves to any earthly ruler, no matter what party.

You know, you spew hatred and bias like it's poison flung from your mouth. It oftentimes offends me, but other times I just wonder what horrible thing has happened in your life to make you the way you are.

How convenient.

Once again, this is a political forum. There isn’t a poster on here I know personally, nor one I wouldn’t break bread with. If there is ill will, it isn’t on my side. Boommerrang.

In eastern Kentucky, it seems to me that poor, scared evangelicals vote Republican. Self-righteousness comes with a stench wise people smell.

THIS is what's convenient. You are never responsible for anything negative; it's always somebody else.

THIS is what's convenient. You are never responsible for anything negative; it's always somebody else.

You can say THIS and still ask me to explain the venom in your mouth?
You've just explained my perspective better than I ever could.
You, then, do not believe self-righteousness stinks? You, then, do not see, historically, that religious people have been used ad nauseum by politicians? You, then, do not see the nigh absolute double standard here? And you want to lecture? Please.

At any rate, the loud, oft-repeated “dems are dead” mantra on this forum was wrong.

You don't know what I think or what's in my mind.

I've seen the manipulation and the deceptive nature.

Absolutely nothing productive ever comes from your "discussions" (for lack of a better term)

I'm out.
