Honest Question
I have a question.
And by no means am I trying to be a prick or try to get something started.
I just have a question that I want answered.
What constitutes a thread getting closed on here?
I know it used to be if you got too far off-topic or if a mod simply didn't like the way it was going.
The PCC-JC thread got closed and I'm pretty sure it's because of us giving friendly jabs at each other that were sometimes off-topic but now the rules are a lot more loose and posting off-topic isn't even one of them. There was a couple of inappropriate comments but it looks like they were deleted anyway.

I didnt have a chance to read it until a second ago. But Personal attacks is one of the rules, And i know you and segar are just having fun but some members wasn't taking to kindly to the personal attacks.
Personal life should not be brought up in a high school football thread.

But if you ever get into a PCC thread and say anything negative about the other team you will be caught in another firefight.

Exactly. And you have to know which fanbases to pick on. There's a select few on here that you would think you punched their grandma in the face just by talking bad about their team.

I just closed a thread because there were too many posts that needed deleted. If a thread goes off topic to the point where over half the posts are nonsense and personal jabbing.
I don't like to ban posters and I don't mind some back and forth banter but when it hyjacks a thread and becomes childish, that's when I will act.
