Default Political Dissent Grounds for Loss of Citizenship?
Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat, in violation of company policy and cultural practice.

Should she have been deported as unamerican?

Examples could take hundreds of posts.

Political dissent is protected speech. If the flag isn’t flying as symbol of that, we might as well burn it because it does not symbolize the highest ideals of this nation any more. Or, just a place where carrying a Bible, driving a truck, listening to Toby Keith, and tearing up at the sound of “Proud to be an American” have “trumped” a genuine understanding of this nation’s highest-common-denominator founding principles.

How about one example of an American citizen being stripped of his or her citizenship and then deported for exercising his or her First Amendment right to freedom of speech? One post. One example. That should be a piece of cake for you.

He can’t name one example because there isn’t one. The basis of his premise is false, as is the ensuing blather.

^^ Genuine understanding? Ludicrous. Our country was not founded upon any highest common denominator principle. Which BTW if libs eventually DO get their way would be a socialist system like Venezuela.

The founding principles of our representative form of self governance sets forth for example, equality of opportunity. That principle establishes the ‘common good’ and though I will admit that in the case of the braindead, common good does sorta sound like common denominator, the two concepts are diametrically opposed to one another.

In highest common denominator rule one gets government forced redistribution of wealth, Socialism. And I can’t think of a more perfect way to illustrate where the liberal revisionists are actually taking us. Using our own government against the people libs would, as we saw under the Obama administration, divide that which hard working Americans have earned in this land of opportunity, and give it to the Democrat’s voting base. A base which is populated by illegal immigrants, minorities and all sorts of special interest groups including those beset by an addiction to unnatural sexual deviancies.

Now. Rosa Park’s decision to oppose bus company policy WAS NOT based in politics. THE CHURCH, functioning as it should as moral arbiter, had given Rosa the proper perspective along with the moral authority she needed to make her stand. But even though history records a bloody civil war on the matter, and one which was in no small degree caused by Dems whom had refused to relent on issues of slavery for purely political and exploitive financial reasons; Succeeded in making the whole thing political. Waxing revisionist and began a successful propaganda campaign to blame Republicans for the very ills they themselves had just committed.

As badly as TUS embarrassed himself with that OP, I think his posse outdid him in that regard by liking his post. Another interpretation of his post is that he believes that Rosa Parks (and hundreds more like her) was deported.

Either way, Bob is probably right. Sombrero and his sidekicks must be standing in a field somewhere waiting on the mother ship to take them home.

Yep, he messed up and strayed outside the limits of safe travel provided by the going DNC talking points on this one Bob. Disappearing for a while after saying something ridiculous is lefty standard operating procedure. When all that stuff came out about the contrived data being used to justify global warming, Obama did the same thing, he just disappeared for a time. And if there's one thing Dems do have right, it's in their understanding of how short 'the people's' attention span is. So after giving time for things to sufficiently settle down, and after having gotten his story straight, Obama came back with a vengeance to push through with the Paris Climate Accord. But not to worry, because if irony ever waxed poetic it would have to be in the fact that we have a President named Trump, who's busy 'trumping' the insanity of the foregoing 8 years.

But you're right, even faked intellect is difficult to sustain after saying something as silly as that stated in the thread starter. See, Trump's having so effectively exposed political correctness still has libs shell shocked. They keep trying to run home to momma, but can't figure out that nobody's home.

Do you echo nutz ever listen to the tweeting don? This whole thread was predicated on what he said and tweeted. It was HE who floated the outlandish premise, not Sombrero. What a bunch of reverberating rubbish.

^^ This is the text of the only tweet I could find where Trump had tweeted anything about Rosa Parks.

“Her courageous act inspired a young Christian pastor, the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr, along with thousands of others in Montgomery to join the movement and boycott the city bus service . . . Soon millions of others across the country joined the Civil Rights Movement and helped secure the freedom and the equality that is every American's birthright.

“Rosa Parks's legacy continues to inspire our citizens to pursue a better tomorrow and to build a country where every American child — no matter their skin color — can live without fear, dream without limits and take their rightful place in the great story of our nation.”

I guess I must have missed the part where he said anything about Rosa Parks losing her citizenship and/or being deported. But you go ahead and post the one you think does.

Why don't you answer Hoot's question? And this is by no means the first time you said something, and somebody called your hand on it.

Political protest is not grounds for loss of citizenship, and only a demagogue and his toadies would just wave the hand of convenient “geegollygosh didn’t mean that” after Trump said what he did about NFL players taking the knee. It’s the Big Toad, toadies, that keeps teeing it up. But not here in the Echo Chamber.

Still waiting for a single example of an American citizen losing his or her citizenship and being deported. You claimed that there are many such examples, yet when challenged to provide one measly example, you seem to have lost your voice on the subject. Y

You claimed that it could take hundreds of posts to provide all of the examples. Perhaps you meant that it will take hundreds of posts for you to provide one example.

The examples, Sir, like ROSA PARKS, are of those who exercised their rights to protest. Did you hear what your Big Toad croaked? He croaked that for kneeling maybe they ought to be out of the country. No one but variants of supremacists and Constitutional skullduggerists would even suggest, hint at, wink an eye to the EC about such. But, the tweeting don did. So, Hoot, you, Bob, TRT? Own your President. He said it. I merely applied his words to a conclusion. Kick rocks, toadies.

You assured everybody that examples of American citizens being deported for exercising their First Amendment right to free speech were numerous. Yet, when asked for a single such example, you failed miserably to deliver one. No amount of insulting Trump, or insulting any of those participating in this forum will change those documented facts.

Your's is the that voice that you hear in an echo chamber. Repetition of lies may change the perception of reality, but such rants have never once changed the truth.

Read the first post again. The gist is this: the Trumpster said those who kneel may should be out of the country. That’s AT LEAST red meat implied “get ‘em out” language. I suspect you know that. It’s right clever what you are attempting here. Kick rocks. You are strawmanning, Sir.

Your interpretation is a lie and I stand by my post. Trump said "maybe they shouldn't be in the country." And I understand what he meant by that. He considers America to be a great nation and people ought to respect that which has afforded them a life of freedom. Frankly, I agree with him. Kneeling during the National Anthem constitutes a disgusting display of contempt for the sacrifice of those who either gave their life or put their life in harm's way.

And yet he certainly did not mean he would deport them for it, and he certainly did not make any sort of hint that he might even consider it. The President is plain spoken and I can appreciate that. This is yet another lying attempt by the left to inflame black people in supplying them reason to dislike Mr Trump. Color had nothing to do with it. Disrespecting the country had everything to do with it.

I repeat, your allegation is a LIE.

And I repeat: your apologist nonsense is propogandist. The tweeting don slings red meat like a sledder feeding his dogs. And you like it. “Woof, woof,” which being interpreted is, “You tell ‘em, ol’ Don.”

So, by your reasoning, the slave should just “pik dat cotton” and be grateful that Massuh Joe gave him a bowl of beans?

No. By my reasoning you will very merrily pick up on any lying slander you hear out there concerning the President and repeat it. Which again in my eyes makes you a liar.

Repeating a lie does not make it true. You, sir, are a serial liar and every active poster knows it. The honorable thing to do would be to admit that the OP was nonsensical babbling at its worst and move on...endeavor to do better in the future - but none of us will be holding our breath waiting for you to do the honorable thing. If I am wrong, then cite an example of an American citizen having his or here citizenship revoked.

No offense but this conversation is mind numbingly stupid. Up your trolling game sombrero. Try harder. It’s getting embarrassing. You are using terms like “implied,” “interpreted,” and you assign meaning when there clearly is none. Your position is embarrassing
