Larry Brown wants to Coach Again, Visits A Villanova Practice
#1
VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Larry Brown's latest basketball stop had nothing to do with taking another coaching job.

Brown was a guest at Villanova's practice Thursday to catch up with the Wildcats and his good friend, coach Jay Wright. Brown lives near campus and visited for the first time since he parted ways with the Charlotte Bobcats in December.

He and Cal are good buddies, so Larry can come to Lexington and join the staff.

If Cal would go for it lol

Cal does too well not to be a head coach somewhere

Do you mean, he does too well to not "recruit" somewhere" else? I'm waiting for the "coaching" part to start.

I mean his teams get too many wins throughout the course of the regular season lol

Don't be surprised if Larry isn't the head man at UofL when Rick calls it quits.

^ Why? Why would there even be a hint of Larry Brown and the Cards? I see no connection.

No way that Jurich would bring Larry to Louisville. Why would he want to hire a 70 year old coach?

More like "potential". Give Cal some time, and he will be able to coach X's & O's at the same level as a HS assistant! Nah, that's asking too much isn't it!
