After looking through the trophie case at the dome, i know Betsy Layne has won County Tournament 14 times since 1976...in 76, 78, 83, 86, 89, 90, 91, 96, 97, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11

The 96-97 runner-up was Virgie.

Virgie won the Pike County title in 1976, 1983 and 1985.Will check on the other dates.

With Virgie winning last night they have won 18 titles since 1972 with 8-10 runner-ups.

Harold Elementary had a perfect record (22-0 I think) and won the Floyd County Tourney in 1987 by beating Allen.

In 1984 Martin Elem. beat Harold Elem. for the Floyd County Championship.
