The first episode aired tonight and I loved it!...Being from Harlan I'm a little Biased!...lol!!!!

They based the character Mag Bennett from an actual woman that lived here!

MAG BAILEY!....Mag was a much loved woman of the community!...Famous for her Bootlegging!...lol....though they used some artistic freedom in this episode, it was fun seeing her mentioned!

So if you happened to watch the show,....What'd you think?

Southern California... just North of LA... Some of the shots where filmed in Harlan - the shots used in the commercials ....lol

Filthy, do you know if any of the cast has been to Harlan? That would be cool for them to see the actual place. I heard last night a reference about exit 11 which is in Wburg and Whitley County. I also remember the Ava character going to a bar in corbin last season when running from the crowders.

A lot of the show is filmed in Pennsylvania as well, but mostly California. I cannot believe how accurate they portray the people around here. They absolutely hit the nail on the head last season, and again last night with the bad guys, lol. Other than jacking the KSP uniforms up, theyve done an exceptional job at accurately portraying Eastern Kentuckians. Two thumbs up.

Awesome show and I havent missed one yet. I got to see some of the action this year in my neck of the woods. it was very little but some shooting went on.

Another good one last night although i like to see the same characters we already know more than random ones hes trying to go after.
Plus his ex wife who he is still seeing a lot of this season is fine lol.

I LOVE the show.

But, they have also jacked up the USP Big Sandy scenes and uniforms as well.
