The Lady Engineers Only Lose 3 Seniors, They Return Leading Rebounder Julia Harris (Who Was MVP Of The 56th District Tournament 2010/11) She Avgs. About 10 pts A Game, 8th Grade Sensation Kennedy Flynn, The Lady Engineers Could Make Another Run At A District Title.

Besides The District Games, I'm Not Sure Who The Lady Engineers Will Play, I'm Assuming They'll Play Breathitt County, Perry Central and Knott Central, and I'm sure they'll play in the Berea Lady Pirate Holiday Classic other than them i don't know.

^ I believe he means that they should be as good this year as they were last year. They only lose 3 Players from last year's team, Return the Leading Rebounder, 8th Grade Sensation along with several other key players. I expect them to have the same year as they did last year

Now is that a Boy/Girl double header, because its on a Monday at 6:00 pm. I've noticed that there's several games that the Lady Engineers play that are at 6:00 pm but most of them are District games so I'm assuming there Double Headers too

I believe they will have around 30 Games. They had 26 Last year Not including the Post Season. I'm sure they will be playing in another tournament. Probably the Berea Christmas Tournament

Berea Invitational has been updated, instead of it being 17-20 (Fri-Mon) it is now 16-18 (Fri-Sun) with 2 Games on Saturday (Dec. 17th)

Southwestern has been added to the schedule for Feb. 11 @ Pulaski County in the Shooting For A Cure Classic. Game is at 4:30 pm

Should be good district competition this year. Estill should be at least as good as they were last year.
Owsley should be improved. They have everyone back from last year's team, plus the addition of two transfers who should help immeadiately.
I'm not sure about Lee and Powell. I believe they both return a lot of key players though.

^ Estill, Powell and Owsley return a load of talent. Not sure what Lee County has coming back or coming in. It's wide open this year. With the hard schedule Estill has it will only help them get ready for tourney time. According to KHSAA Estill County plays Presentation, North Laurel and couple other teams in the Berea Invitational and they play Garrard County, Lexington Christian in the Bankers Classic @ Pulaski County (If those are indeed the games) then WOW!!!

I thought it was against BluegrassRivals regulations to discuss any team other then Perry Central girls because no other team has a chance in Hades to win. I heard that they were cancelling the season and presenting them the regional trophy in December. Maybe I was wrong. Anyway Good luck to the Lady Engineers and their coach who is a class act.

Why are they not playing the Bankers Classic? Pretty good teams in there that would only help Estill against harder opponents.

I do agree with the above posts, Coach Mckinley is a very classy guy.

Taylor County has dropped out of the Bankers Classic and Estill County has taken their spot. Lady Engineers will play McCreary Central at 7:00 pm on Dec. 27th and Cumberland County on Dec. 28th at 11:30 am
