How is track season going out there, and who is hot right now??

Boyd Middle is at Verity on Thursday of next week,,,,not sure what other schools will be there, if anyone knows, please advise.

Highlands middle school has yet to have a meet (one rained out), but have a couple of middle schoolers running in a couple of varsity meets. A six grade girl ran a 6:08, 1600meters, and a seventh grade girl ran a 5:46, 1600meter and a 2:35, 800 meter race.

Would like to bring Raceland to Verity Middle School meet, but do not see it on the calendar, who do we contact.?

Dang. Hard to believe. She would have finished last year in state with these times,

1600 Top 10 1A
Top 6 2A
Top 20 3A

800 Top 12 1A
Top 15 2A
Top 20 3A

Connor Messer is ranked 4th in high school 1A polevault right now with a vault of 10'6" as an 8th grader. 12th in 110H and 16th in 300H and 10th in Triple Jump.
1st in triple jump in 1A Region7
1st in 110H in 1A Region 7
1st in 300H in 1A Region 7
1st in PoleVault in 1A Region 7

My nephew, also an 8th grader at Raceland, has been talking about this kid for a couple of years now. He pulls up youtube video just about every time I visit. Messer looks like he will be great athlete. Does he just play football and run track?

Pitches and plays shortstop on the baseball team, played on the Sweet Sixteen appearing 8th grade basketball team and averaged 20 points a game.
