The other day when I was on the computer with a friend and we had trouble getting into My do***ents. It told me to right click on it and then click on properties, then we didn't really know what to do from there, so we clicked reset defaults. After we did that we were able to get in, but found that a lot of the files were gone. We used the find thing on windows and found a couple of them. I don't think they were deleted, but I think they're just scattered on the computer somewhere. But the questions I wanted to ask are, what exactly does the reset defaults button do, and where would it store the files that were in my do***ents?

I am sure it put them in a temp file some where just finding the temp file.

Is there a certain name that temporary file would go by?
