Kentucky @ Florida- 2/4/06
#1
I think UK will take this one in a game that goes down to the buzzer and maybe even more. I dont think florida is playing that good right now but they did shoot well against vandy(62% in the second half).......i think with kentucky getting their confidence up they will pull the upset victory. It would be a huge morale booster.
#2
im gonna go with florida on this one, i think it will be close early but florida will put them away in the end.

Why would you even overlook Miss. State on Wednesday?? First things first..We have to beat MSU and then I'll talk about the Florida game..

Its cool man..I just don't want people to overlook Wednesday's game...Miss. State is a very physical team that could easily push us around if the momentum heads their way...

Florida has one of top 3 point shooters out for the next 3 weeks due to a bicycle wreck. I hate to see anyone get hurt. But this should help the CATs chance even more.
#11
it will be a good game
#12
Ill take Kentucky over Msu, but Kentucky over Florida hmm!! well maybe they might pull it off... It will be a good game and i think Kentucky might pull a rank out... with it Smile

Florida in a BLOWOUT! I am going to say Florida 91- UK 68.. Too much athleticism!
#16
ill take ky by 7...

hmmm...playboy 5, i wouldnt call starting 17-0 very athletic when u beat people like morgan state, savannah state, alabama state, FL A+M...i mean really...

here is a stat...FL hasnt beat a top 25 team all year, or better yet they HAVENT EVEN PLAYED A TOP 25 team all yr...i mean their best win was by 4 against syracuse which i believe may have been ranked 24, 25 for couple wks, but they werent when they played....in fact....tennessee became ranked after they beat the mighty gators...

FL is still the most overrated team in the nation...

IN FACT, following the rankings as they r right now, FL will only play ONE ranked team (tenn) for their entire season...WOW

see if for yourself....heres their schedule...

yeah, and UK pulling a miracle out of the hat to beat those powerhouses Ohio, and Central Florida? Or how about them surviving those SEC juggernauts Arkansas and South Carolina AT HOME BY 2? And who can forget them pulling away from Georgia State, Lipscomb, some high school team from one of the Dakotas? Fact is, UK has beat one severly overrated Loserville team, and one decent West Virginia team to their credit. They were crushed by a team full of freshman (Kansas), another overrated group (Indiana), beaten AT HOME by ANOTHER GROUP OF FRESHMEN (North Carolina), beaten at home by a mediocre team without their leading scorer (Alabama), beaten AT HOME AGAIN, for the first time ever by Vanderwho? and outplayed by Iowa. Simple as that. Im taking Florida in this one. Florida has more quality wins than UK does. Look at the schedule youve posted. Florida has beaten some very good teams. However it stacks up, it should be a good game, but I still like Florida.

  The part about high school team cracked me up.

However, the majority of those games UK struggled in was when Morris was not eligible. His presence in the paint has really helped UK excel. Since Randolph's return all of UKs statistics have improved. Should be a great game if Morris stays out of foul trouble. I think Florida will look to get him in foul trouble. Florida will get all the touch fouls called in favor of them down in Gainsville. I predict Morris will be in foul trouble mid way through the first half and this is when Florida will pull away.

Morris stays out of foul trouble UK wins by 5..
Morris gets into foul troubl UF wins by 15...

UK by 11+, look for Sparks to have a big game.
