WWE's TV Tribute to Macho Man
#1
The big topic of discussion today at WWE World Headquarters was obviously the passing of Macho Man Randy Savage. The news broke as the writing staff was meeting with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon regarding next week's television shows and this weekend's pay per view.

According to a key WWE insider, McMahon went back-and-forth several times today whether to have WWE pay tribute to Savage during the pay per view, or to hold off on honoring Savage until this Monday's edition of Raw.

"I don't think a decision is going to be final until late afternoon Sunday," WrestleZone was told exclusively, "the production team is ready to roll a video on Savage right now. It's all up to Vince when we air it, whether it's Sunday, Monday, or both."

"WWE will definitely pay tribute to Savage, it's just a matter of WHEN, not IF."

I hope it's Monday so everyone can see it cause there's a lot of people that doesn't watch Pay-Per-Views

They might close the PPV with the Savage tribute and open Raw with it. Never know. I am just glad they ARE doing it.
#4
I do think they have something on Monday. I expect lots of taped stories throughout the show.

They had a "In Loving Memory" before the PPV.

Dave Meltzer reported today that they are making a video package tribute, so be on the lookout for that tonight on Raw.

^ That's what I heard as well. Tonight they should be putting more into it.

he sure will be missed terribly

^ He has been even before this tragic event. How could TNA not have had his as part of their roster as an announcer????

It was a beautiful tribute, a real tear-jerker.
