Saints @ 49ers (NFC Divisional Round)
#1
Thoughts/Predictions?

Saints are the hottest team in football right now, but we all know they're a different team on the road.

Wow... David Akers is going to break records if Niners are going to score 30+.

Offense vs Defense

This a hard game to pick. But Saints have to travel a pretty good distance, So I'm going with Niners.

Alex Smith with a big day.

Saints - 33
Niners - 27

Drew Brees and company are on fire, they will find a way to win this game.

49ers by a Td,
#12
WOW, 3 Saints turnovers. Two turned into TDs, and the 3rd has set the 9ers up on the 13
#13
This could be over now.
#14
end of 1Q and #49ers lead #saints 14-0 and half ball on 11 yd line. 3 t.o. by #nola is big reaso
#15
This is the Saints' biggest deficit since a Week 8 loss to St. Louis
#16
stunned
#17
If they score a TD it's over
#18
njuries changed EVERYTHING in this game: Graham goes out on the first drive, so Drew throw it to Thomas, not Graham near the endzone. Thomas gets hurt. So now Roby has to return kicks...thus another turnover. It's a ripple effect all stemming from Graham's injury
#19
Roby is returning KOs because the injury to P.Thomas has left the Saints with only two healthy RBs. Guess is they don't want to risk injury
#20
Good stand by the D
#21
saints hold #49ers to fg there, big one at this point. Niners up 17-0 with 14:12 left in 1H
#22
This is so much like the '94 NFC title game, when the 49ers got three quick turnovers (if memory serves) and outlasted the Cowboys 38-28. I remember Eric Davis taking one to the house off of Troy Aikman.
#23
Jim Harbaugh wanted a time out on third-and4 from the 7. Saints force a field goal. 49ers up 17-0.
#24
Saints 3rd team in past 20 postseasons with 3 turnovers in 1st quarter. Pats did it vs Ravens in '10 and Cowboys vs. 49ers in '9
#25
The Comeback was a NFL playoff game between the Buffalo Bills and the Houston Oilers played January 3, 1993. It featured the Bills recovering from a 32-point deficit to win in overtime, and it remains the largest comeback in NFL history. (The largest comeback in a regular season game still remains the San Francisco 49ers comeback from a 35-7 deficit in the second quarter against the New Orleans Saints on December 7, 1980.)

collins gets 8, #saints have it 1st at 36 with 13:20 left in 1H, down 17-0
#27
Surprise officials let that stuff go, but looked like both players were at least a little guilty
#28
after 20yd gain, #sainta at 44 12:30 left in half, down 17-0
#29
payton challenging ruling. sproles should be down and #saints retain posession at 40
#30
This will get overturned
