Private First Class Dustin Napier, of London, died Sunday night in Afghanistan.

The 20-year old is a 2010 graduate of South Laurel High School.

Napier was assigned to 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

We're told he died from enemy small arms fire.

This kid is married, for only 3 months...in the Army for less than 2 years. Freakin' 20 years old.

He was killed in Zabul Province in the southeastern part of the country, in a city called Qalat, which is known for having alot of Taliban. An Afghan Army soldier, probably Taliban, opened up on him and his squad, injuring 2 others.

He was with 1-24 Infantry, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Div out of Ft. Wainwright, Alaska (Fairbanks).

Rest Easy brother..

Such a damn shame.
I think ive actually heard of this kid as i live really close to London.
I think ive seen him in the paper and stuff where hes family has put articles in wishing him well and stuff like a lot of people do.

If im thinking correctly this is the 3rd soldier from London who has died.
