HOUSTON (AP) â "The White House promised an appeal Tuesday after a federal judge in Texas temporarily blocked President Barack Obama's executive action on immigration and gave a coalition of 26 states time to pursue a lawsuit aiming to permanently stop the orders.
U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen's decision late Monday puts on hold Obama's orders that could spare from deportation as many as five million people who are in the U.S. illegally."

A judicial hero: Judge Andrew Hanen from the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. There are a few good federal judges left. Obviously, he was not nominated to the bench by Obama.
As has been posted before, the United States needs Texas but Texas doesn't need the rest of the United States. As the great patriot, Davy Crockett, said, "I'm going to Texas. The rest of you can go to hell".
