The Knicks should officially add free agent reserve shooting guard J.R. Smith to Linsanity today, making the hottest team in the NBA a deep team as well.
According to multiple sources, Smith, who played in China during the lockout and became eligible to sign an NBA deal on Wednesday, will be at Madison Square Garden tonight, but wonât make his debut until Sunday against the Mavericks.

Well assuming it is tru I personally think the Knicks are becoming a dangerous team. Melo, amare, Lin, Chandler, fields, Smith....If they all mesh well together and play right they could do a lot of damage come playoff time.

IF this Knicks' roster can stay healthy and gel, look for them to make a push to win the Eastern Conference.

Great pick up! With him, Lin, and davis added to this team I think they should be considered legit contenders with the bulls and heat. idc what their record says.
