Final from Davis Park.
Very impressed with Phelps of Paintsville. I have no clue why he is not throwing varsity. He has some good stuff.
Pikeville threw Clay Slone, who threw well after an error in the first led to a three-run first frame for the Tigers.
These two teams will be doing battle the next four/five years, Paintsville will only get stronger when you add in Miller and Daniel. Future looks bright for two of the more storied 15th programs.

Only a couple of the runs were earned from Paintsville. A few errors early killed the Panthers in this one.
