If I'm UK, I don't know if I want Louisville in my region. The Cardinals have owned the Cats this season. Hopefully UK can sweep this weekend, and make a good showing in the SEC Tournament, maybe win the thing, and improve their projected seeding.

You have to figure, Can the Cards threepeat with an assured top three pitcher going for the Cats?? Odds may play into that one.

Yea, in the college world series, 8 teams are granted seeds and regional host.
UK, even though there ranked 5th is projected to not get one of those seeds.
But....if UK was to win the conference tourney, that might change.

I'm sorry but that is ridiculous. A team that has been in the top 5 in the country for a large part of the season doesn't get a seed? Horseshit.

Oh i definitely agree.
But we know how the NCAA works....

The Cats sure didnt help their chances of a top 8 national seed this weekend by getting swept by the Dawgs. They will however still get to host a regional more than likely and it will probably include the Cards. In baseball the NCAA usually tries to keep teams playing in their own regions for travel purposes. If EKU wins the OVC they will probably be in the region as well.
