Ray Allen to Miami?
#1
Ray Allen has agreed to a 3-Year Deal with the Miami Heat.

I hate the Heat but this is a good pick-up.

I didn't know he was considering retiring
#5
After Boston agreeing to terms with Jason Terry they must have thought that Ray Allen wasn't coming back
#6
Reports are coming in that this has NOT happened. Ray is still a FA

Why would you take 11 mil for 3 years with the heat instead of 12 mil with the celtics for two year?
It cant be for a championship, he already has one.

The only reason i would is for the simple fact id rather live in miami.

No, it's $11 M versus 7.2 M! There are no payroll taxes in Florida!

Per Chris Brousard: Ray Allen will NOT be signing with the Miami Heat this offseason.

other's say he is headed to Miami

According to Ray Allen's Agent and the Heat Owner, Ray Allen will be joining the Miami Heat. I guess the Celtics couldn't control the Rondo Allen hatred
#13
Glad he went to HEAT !!!

Allen told the Heat on Friday night that he has decided to leave the Boston Celtics and join up with the reigning NBA champions.

Heat owner Micky Arison tweeted the news just after 9:30 p.m., and Allen's decision was subsequently confirmed by his agent, James Tanner.

It is believed Allen accepted the Heat's mid-level exception that starts at $3.09 million, which means he left an offer worth twice as much per year on the table from the Celtics.

Allen met with the Heat Thursday afternoon and evening in Miami.

Ray Allen, one of my top 10 favorite players in the history of the game and the greatest shooter the game has ever seen; I now must cheer against you, every game, and hope your teammates break their legs. Sorry.
