Let the Games begin-London 2012 has begun
#3
i thought the opening ceremony was doing pretty good until that digital era came in, got lost in all that stuff, and im only 23
#4
It was interesting.
I don't know if I like seeing Muhammad Ali like that but
#5
overall it was pretty good, not quite as good as beijing, but very close. very entertaining

you can tell it's getting worse for ali, but im glad he was there
#6
I never thought I would enjoy fencing, but watching Lei Kiefer this morning, that was enjoyable.
#7
You probably like bowling tournaments, too!!
LOL

In all seriousness, I LOVE to watch the fencing.
#8
^ I watched a lot of table tennis and bad-mitten over the last two days as well!
#9

Hey, a few of those water polo members looked like good ole' country corn fed gals!!
#15
some but many were very atletic even when they were losing parts of their swinsuits
#16
Hmmmm, "swinsuit" LOL Bet you could properly spell "butt"!!

Anyway, I think that's the way they are made. I saw a lot of them, and they were all super wedgies!!
Saw two girls that were my size, and they certainly WERE athletic. No jiggle when they walked, even with half their butts hanging out.

I couldn't do this sport...even as a young woman. First time the opposing team pulled my head under the water with my hat strings, or tried to drown me for posting up; I'd retalliate..Probably spend most of my time in the penalty box. Some of those "fouls" were really bad!!

^lol saw some wardrobe malfunctions in the China/Spain game

That's probably the sole reason why you, Gut and Dusty watch the Olympics!!!

I have to believe if the US stays close to China, once track & field comes, the US could run away with the total medals
#24

Silver: Anders Golding, Denmark
Bronze: Nasser Al-Attiya, Qatar

Phelps broke the record for medal today.

Greatest olympian ever?

^^
Yes; right up until the picture surfaced of him sucking on a bong.

That's tragic, IMO. One mistake in judgment, and it's going to stay with him for a long long time, maybe even for life. He lost a ton of endorsements from that picture.

And, I'll tell you something else that has surprised me. He actually said that he wasn't sure about competing this year, so when he finally decided that he would compete.....he didn't train!! I mean, is that arrogance or stupidity, or the residual bad judgment?
