Serious Question
#1
I really did hear this but was curious, who sits on the board for the Fox News Channel?

Also, can someone tell me about the Koch (sp) brothers? I know they funded the tea party but I am more curious about their businesses.

Try looking it up. You will find that the Koch family has accumulated a large amount of wealth by being successful in business in many areas- from Angel Soft to Brawny to Georgia Pacific with its many building and related products, etc. As successful capitalists they would naturally oppose a quasi-Muslim socialist who has accomplished nothing whatsoever other than being a community agitator.

If you decide to do a little homework of your own, you should also check out George Soros and the sources of his wealth.

I suspect he already knew the answers to all of these questions. Who knows what twisted logic he had in asking them in the first place.

Fox News Channel doesn't have a board of directors since they are owned by News Corp

What does it matter who sits on the Board of NewsCorp?
Fox News airs shows that the people want to watch. People wouldn't watch these shows if they didn't have some agreement with the programs. Maybe you should be concerned with who's on the Board of NBC or Time Warner and tell them to put programs on that people want to watch instead of a political agenda:eyeroll:

The Koch brothers and Koch Industries are American success storis. The company employees 50,000 Americans and it is the second largest privately owned American corporation. The Koch brothers believe in the free market and have been very successful capitalists. That makes them enemies of socialists like Barack Obama and his supporters.

Obama has no problems with how socialist vultures like George Soros have made their fortunes, as long as they are willing to make generous donations to his campaigns.

If Obama really had an interest in creating jobs and lifting Americans out of poverty, he would beg people like the Koch brothers for their economic advice. Instead, he hires idiots like Van Jones, who have never create jobs and never will.

Kardashian is getting into his campaign mode. He and his family actually attended church today. Wonder what church?

President Barack Obama, along with first lady Michelle Obama and their two daughters, Sasha and Malia, walked across Lafayette Square on an overcast Sunday in the nation's capital to attend mass at St. John's Episcopal Church.

This is not the first time the president has attended services at St. John's. Earlier this year, on Easter Sunday, the president attended services there with his family. That was the last time Obama publicly attended church.
Throughout his almost four years in office, Obama has attended a number of different churches in Washington. According to the White House, the president and his family have attended services at nine different churches, including the historic Washington National Cathedral, Shiloh Baptist Church and others.

Does he have to go to one church? Is one church in christianity the main denomination? Boy you people sure do grasp at straws.

It's not that. He Walked across Lafayette Square on an overcast Sunday in the nation's capital to attend mass at St. John's Episcopal Church. With first lady Michelle Obama and their two daughters, Sasha and Malia? :please: Anybody want to guess how much that little walk to church cost the taxpayer? He's not going to expose his family to danger being out in the open for no good reason. It was for one thing and one thing only, he's in campaign mode and that was a high profile photo op. I heard they almost had to cancel because Barry couldn't tear himself away from the mirror in time to walk over there.

If he is actually a Christian, which I seriously doubt, he could only be a Cafeteria Christian.

I don't think anyone is concerned about which church he attends. The issue is that he appears to only "attend" at politically expedient times. Was he carrying a Bible in his most photogenic hand (ala Clinton) or does he even own a Bible? I guess he could borrow one from Biden assuming Biden has mind enough to remember where he keeps it.

Well, considering his rub with the nation of Israel, it's hard to imagine him espousing the Judeo-Christian line of faith we have here in America.

This is what his pastor of some 20 years believes---In 2008 America elected a president whose pastor for 20 years preached anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, advocated bizarre pseudo-scientific racial ideas, opposed interracial marriage, praised communist dictatorships, denounced black "assimilation," and taught Afrocentric feel-good nonsense to schoolchildren. When Americans discovered the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's views during the 2008 campaign, they rightly wondered if Barack Obama, like his pastor, really believed that HIV/AIDS was created by the American government to kill black people. Even to this day, no one knows for sure whether Obama shares the views of Wright, whom the Chicago Sun-Times once described as Obama's "close confidant."

Haven't landed on a doctrine you like yet?

^Denominations are often separated by the smallest things. Examine them closely and you will find the same.

So true, however, there can be light years of space between a denomination and a particular doctrine.
