Wondering how the lillle league programs are in the area? I know Boyd Co has a large program at the Optomist Field and Louisa has a program with about 4 teams? These are great in developing players for JV and Varsity.

that is why those area high schools have better teams.when there is not a league program a lot of practice time at the high school level is spent teaching players fundamentals not to mention the 3,4,5, years of league game experience that is not there.the high schools have to help form leagues in order to have an ongoing feeder program as is done in all sports programs that are sucessful.

Shelby Valley started one this year. It is going good too. They have two teams. Johnnie ALvin and Mikie Hall will over see them, but the high school girls will actually be coaching them on the field.
