The DesMoines Register Endorses Romney
#1
For the first time since 1972 and only the second time since 1960, the DesMoines Register endorses a Republican for President.

"Mitt Romney offers a fresh economic vision"

That is a pretty strong statement by the Des Moines Register. They endorsed Jimmy Carter for a second term but not Barack Obama. More evidence to solidify Obama's claim to the Worst U.S. President in History title.

^Wow, the Register is one of the most prestigious in the country and is number 1 in Iowa. Matter of fact, it's considered to be the very best by some. I have to give them credit for being wise enough to undo the err of 2008 when they endorsed Obama.

Rasmussen had them dead even last weekend at 48% each. This will have some impact in favor of Romney. FWIW, I heard Iowa was starting to lean Romney yesterday.

No, I'm pretty confident that the last four years turned the tide in Iowa....

How many EC votes is Iowa? 3? 5? Every vote counts but I was just curious.
