Ashleigh Stanley picked up her 2nd win on the season. Pike Central scored 5 unearned runs in the latter stages of the game. Stanley allowed only 1 hit while striking out 8 Hawk batters. Obviously, the time in London did wonders for SV's hitting as they pounded out 22 hits against Kayla Lowe. Lucinda Varney was 5-5. Caitlyn Case and Cortney Bentley were inches away from going YARD. Case and Varney doubled, and Bentley had 3 triples and a single on the night. I believe every other starter had a least one hit. It looks like SV is beginning to peak...no better time to play your best than tournament time!:thumpsup:
