Heat 141 - Kings 129
#1
Final after two overtime periods last night.
#2
LeBron - 40 pts, 16 assists, 8 rebounds
Wade- 39 pts, 8 rebounds, 7 assists
#3
Lebron is a Basketball GOD!
#4
As bad as I hate Lebron and the Heat, they are by far the best team in the league right now.
#5
He went off in the OT periods. Him and the Heat as a whole are on another level right now. Of course they will have close games and lose some games but they are a great team.

If Kobe Bryant would have those stats ESPN and ppl on BGR would never shut up about it... But for Lebron, thats another day at the office.

If Kobe had 2 OTs against the Kings he's dropping 50+

With 1 or 2 assist and about 30 shots....

Doubt it.
Kobe rarely gets just 1 or 2 assists in regulation.
He would have 10 in OT and he would have had plenty of boards.

But it's a possibility.

Do they back yours?

35 shots in 2 games and you said 30+ in 1 game with 2 OTs
9 assists in 2 games and you say 1 or 2 in 1 game with 2 OTs

I think my assessment is closer than yours

Well....

The last 8 games were Kobe has played over 40 minutes;

jan 21. vs CHI... Kobe 7/22 FG, 5 ast, and 16 points----- L
jan 20. vs TOR... Kobe 10/32 FG, 5 ast, 6 TO's, and 26 points----- L
jan 17. vs MAI.... Kobe 8/25 FG, 1 ast, 6 TO's, and 22 points----- L
jan 8. vs HOU... Kobe 8/22 FG, 7 ast, 5 TO's, and 20 points---- L
jan 6. vs DEN.... Kobe 11/28 FG, 7 ast, and 29 points---- L
jan 4. vs LAC... Kobe 15/26 FG, 3 ast, and 38 points---- L
jan 1 vs PHI.... Kobe 14/29 FG, 0 ast, and 36 points---- L
dec 26. vs DEN... Kobe 13/24 FG, 6 ast, and 40 points--- L

Seems like Lakers are better when Kobe plays less minutes, so if Lakers go to double OT it might be a good thing to tell Kobe to go to the lockroom early.

P.S. I think the Coach has caught on.... Kobe hasn't played 40 minutes since Jan 21st and Lakers are having their best month of the season. and stop acting like Kobe is a walking double double because he ISN'T.... He had 3 games at the end of Jan were he actually passing the ball and people went crazy over it.... Kobe only has 5 games this season with 10 or more assist....

As bad as the Kings are this was a great game for them. If you look at this game and compare it to when the Heat came to Sacramento, you can see the improvement in the team. That trade helped for some reason.

Quit making stuff up.
When have I said that Kobe is a walking double-double?
He averages about 6 assists a game and is looking to pass more lately - so me saying he will have double-digit assists in a double OT game isn't exactly a stretch. Saying he will only have 1 or 2 is DEFINITELY stretching it.

Post all the stuff you want - I could care less.
I'm done defending Kobe on here when people are too blind and biased to legitimately talk about basketball and skew everything to make their point.

I'll go back to just doing what everyone else does and say that Kobe shoots 90 shots a game and passes twice.

The Kings are a good young team and Marcus Thorton didn't miss from the 3 in this game.
