Of course he did. But, for the dems it isn't about what is reasonable or constitutional. It's about seeing the fulfillment of the liberal agenda. Not at all unlike the Islamist's obsessive predilection to bring about the Caliphate, only with the possible exception of the use of violence to achieve their intended end. Consider for a second the manner in which Dianne Feinnstein's behavior mirrored that of Hillary Clinton during her own bout with indignation over some of the questions asked of her in the Benghazi hearings.
