How Soon They Forget
#1
Remember the big hugs and glowing tribute New Jersey Governor Chris Christy lavished on our flight jacket donned super hero president in the wake of hurricane Sandy? Special strings would get pulled and special allowances would be made in order to make those who lost homes have a smooth and seamless transition back to normalcy, remember? Well, just sayin it don't make it so.

" NEW YORK (AP) — First they needed blankets and generators. But before long, many of Superstorm Sandy's bedraggled survivors also needed a lawyer.

Thousands of people with damaged homes and businesses have sought help with legal headaches ranging from fights with building contractors to insurance disputes.

In the first days after the Oct. 29 storm, mobile legal clinics sprang up in flooded communities to help people apply for emergency aid and navigate the federal bureaucracy. Nearly 10 months later, some are still operating, and the issues have become increasingly complex. "

I will one of those who resist the push to get Christy to run for the republican nomination in 2016.
