Deer season is right around the corner. Is anyone getting out there opening day and bow hunting?

I won't be out opening day, however, was scouting a new bow at bass proshops this afternoon.
I mentioned a tm hunter rest and aluminum arrows and the guy looked at me like I had 5 heads. I see it's all about carbon arrows and whisker biscuit arrow "holders." And that's all good. Once I id whether my 14 year old son has the patience, interest, and want to bow hunt I'll spend $600 on a complete bow package including arrows, broad heads, release, etc...
In the meantime my early 90's Hoyt is good to go from 30 yards and less, aluminum arrows and all!
I'll keep my eyes and ears open for folks that are early season bow hunting for you.
