The Ultimate End Run

Basically we've two possibilities. If we keep electing liberals to high office they'll eventually figure out a way to come and get our guns. Or we can vote them out of office and possibly restore some semblance of the America we grew up in.

Now, they're trying to use the UN to usurp the authority of the US Constitution, in order to confiscate lawfully acquired guns from the American public.

"In a letter addressed to President Barack Obama, the senators enumerated six reasons the president should refuse to present the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) to the Senate for ratification. Among the objections raised by the senatorial signatories is the ambiguity of the treaty, as well as the grant to “foreign sources of authority” the power to “impose judgment or control on the U.S.”[/SIZE]

EXCERPT---
"The National Rifle Association is warning that the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty set to take effect on Dec. 24 could lead to increased gun control if President Obama implements it via executive order.

Under the terms of the U.N. treaty, participating nations must set up export and import controls for combat vehicles, aircraft, and small arms. The treaty also requires those nations to "establish and maintain a national control system, including a national control list, in order to implement the provisions," the Washington Times reported."

Given that Eric Holder has taken the lack of gun control legislation as a "personal" failure, and given that the administration seems willing to use executive fiat as a platform from which to legislate, does this possibility really seem so far fetched?

Looks like another ruse on the way "if you like your gun you can keep your gun".
